Hunnicutt Construction LLC loves working on complete home renovations and kitchens and baths. We create simple design programs in-house for customers who have smaller projects, and for larger projects such as a major addition, we work with a select group of Houston architects and engineers. 

Greg Hunnicutt, has dedicated himself to the realm of residential construction, honing his craft and expertise for over 25 years. As a proud native Texan, he resides in the vibrant heart of Houston alongside his wife and trusted business partner, Susan, and their daughter when she’s home from college. Greg's specialty lies in the realm of bespoke craftsmanship, particularly in the creation of custom furniture, cabinetry, and the intricate art of fine woodworking. His skill set extends beyond mere construction, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of all facets of custom remodeling. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, Greg consistently delivers exceptional results that exceed the expectations of his clients.

Susan Simmons, with over 20 years of design and construction expertise, enriches our team with her vast experience. Originally from Houston, she's lived across diverse locations like South Africa, Cameroon, Australia, Marfa, and Detroit, where she earned her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. At Cranbrook, she honed her artistic passion, refined her style, and mastered advanced design techniques. Her meticulous attention to detail is evident in various areas such as hard finishes, bespoke furniture design, spatial planning, 3D modeling, and sourcing. As an avid art enthusiast, Susan draws inspiration from emerging artists, writers, and artisans. She thrives in collaborative environments, consistently bringing innovative ideas to fruition.
